# Redesign Statfin

![](/files/-LCkGPFOfXz51WYD28sw)

By redesigning the user interface of [Statfin](http://pxnet2.stat.fi/PXWeb/pxweb/en/StatFin/), the offcial statistics database of Finland, [the project](http://blog.yentsenliu.com/redesign_statfin/) aims to demonstrate how design could help the citizens interactively visualise the data, and how design could lower the threshold of transforming raw data into useful and conprehensive information.

This is a project report providing the introduction to the concept, to the process of development, and to my reflection.
